We started the year with a bang!
January 18th, we welcomed Marvin Lanes, writer at the Defiant to recap his investigation into the Alexey Pertsev case. We highly recommend you check out his film.
Just make a mental note that in the Netherlands code is not free speech like in the US…
After a short break and some lovely beers we welcomed, Robert de Groot, Privacy advocate from Ethereum Swarm, presenting the Privacy Playbook and some cute puppies. We wrapped the night with an informal panel, joined by Olaf Van Wijk, currently developing a Tornado Cash Fork.
This night showed us that privacy is primordial, and a right worth fighting for and I would like to thank all our guests, privacy builders, speakers and De Nieuwe Anita for an exceptional night.
On January 25th, I attended the Privacy Conference in the Hague, in my relentless efforts to bridge the non-crypto world. It was… frustrating, but bridges take time to build right?
In the evening online, I hosted Crypto 101 a wonderful concrete reminder of why I do what I do. I’m happy to offer that place and time for other to jump on board.
On January 26th we gathered the whole NL crypto ecosystem, partnering with ETHDEV NL, Copernicus Beers, BlockDam and ETHBlockArt to host a New Year’s eve reception at the NFT playground!
🍝 Shoutout to our new community partner, Urbe.eth - wonderful passionate peeps based in Rome and busy running meetups like and us and planning ETHRome!
ETHDam planning is going full steam ahead, with applications to hack, mentor, speak and partner now open to all! We’ve also listed a couple of our speakers and are delighted to welcome 1inch and Sismo as our first partners 💖
