CryptoCanal September Newsletter
Merged! Attending DuneCon, ETHBerlin and our first CryptoDrinks in Zürich 🐼
What a month, we meeeeeeeerged! Can you believe that the most anticipated protocol upgrade of all time occurred without a hiccup?! I was blessed to see it happen, live, in Berlin, in a room full of people that I could geek out (hard) with and watch those beautiful proof of stake blocks get verified!🥳
DuneCon
Wizards, data queries and much wow dashboards. THAT venue. The merch, as always, on point and well thought. You can read my hot takes here. What’s your favorite dashboard?
Volunteering at ETHBerlin!
On my quest to learn more about hackathons and larger crypto conferences, I was delighted to be able to take part in ETHBerlin as a volunteer. Was blown away by the organization, the team, the venue, the delicious food and all the amazing hackers. You can now catch up on all the talks and workshops and enjoy some of my snapshots.
Did I mention that we had a wall of donuts? 🍩
CryptoDrinks Zurich
Another wonderful milestone this month, as we launched our first CryptoDrinks in Zürich! Nicoletta, Head of the CryptoCanal Swiss Chapter will be hosting regular meetups in the Crypto Valley. Join the CryptoCanal Zürich meetup, and don't miss our upcoming meetups!
CryptoDrinks Amsterdam
As usual, join us tomorrow, for Crypto Drinks this Wednesday 28th of September at our usual HQ at the Duke of Tokyo! rsvp🏮
As a ride this TGV back home to Amsterdam, at a speeding 260km/h and pause to think about this last month… I can’t help thinking of Alex Pertsev in jail… still locked up with unknown charges. The mobilization and freedom activists trying to coordinate themselves… leaving you helpless. Well Naomi Brockwell just shared some interesting tips to learn how to run a Signal Proxy Server.
Did you read the whole newsletter? I’m impressed! Ok here’s a little something extra for you… We will be keeping the Devconnect torch alive, by organising ETHDam in Amsterdam Q2 2023. Stay tuned.
“Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark in the hopeless swamps of the not-quite, the not-yet, and the not-at-all. Do not let the hero in your soul perish in lonely frustration for the life you deserved and have never been able to reach. The world you desire can be won. It exists.. it is real.. it is possible.. it's yours.” ― Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged
